Thirsties Natural Newborn All-In-One
Looking for a newborn cloth diaper that ticks all the boxes? Cute, absorbent and easy to wash (even made in the USA of all natural fibers to boot) the Thirties Natural All-In-One (NNAIO) fits the bill!
As with other natural fiber diapers this one will need to be “prepped” after 2-3 washes we called it good to go (but it does get more absorbent with each wash thereafter, reaching max absorbency around the 6-8th wash).
Speaking of absorbency and natural fibers. The Thirsties Natural Newborn All-In-One boasts 10 layers of absorbecy. The interior body has 2 layer of Organic cotton, the 2 front sewn soaker flaps are 3 layers each of the amazingly soft and absorbent Thirsties Hemp/Cotton love.
Some other features we really like about the Thirsties Natural Newborn All-In-One (in the Snap version only) is that it really can fit below the umbilical cord. The center tummy snap acts as an umbilical snap down. The rise can be snapped smaller than pictured for those extra tiny newborn legs (this diaper will fit most babies from 5-14 pounds). In the photo below, little miss was 8 pounds 2 ounces and 50th percentile for height.
Though we did not get a chance to try them ourselves, we also love the that Thirsties Natural Newborn All-In-One is available in a Hook and Loop version. The Hook and Loop in the Newborn size is a smaller tab than what is on the One-Size and even Size 1 covers. Thirsties Hook and Loop is a Boop Baby favorite as it is very durable. We recommend having a few of the Hook and Loop on hand for quick middle of the night diaper changes or to make it easier on caregivers that may not be use to the snaps on cloth diapers.
Ultimately we can’t say enough good things about the Thirsties Natural Newborn All-In-One. We recommend adding them to you newborn diapering stash (even if it just a part-time one).
At the time of this review the Thirsties Natural Newborn All-In-One retailed for $17.95. Find them here at Boopbaby.com
