Thirsties Natural Newborn All in Ones
Although its been a few week since these fit Little Miss P, okay months/year, why must they keep growing up, we still vividly remember our love for the Thirsties Natural Newborn All in One diapers. Had they been around before I gave birth I could totally have seen myself stocking up over the course of my pregnancy.
One of the first features that sets the Thirsties Natural Newborn All in Ones (or TNNAIO for short) is that they feature an adjustable rise and a cord snap down!
When the TNNAIO are all the way snapped down they will fit a tiny 6 pounder with ease!
As the adorable baby rolls start filling in and the cord stump falls off you can unsnap the cord snap and open up the rise snaps on the legs.
For a newborn size, these are incredibly similar to their One Size counterparts. They feature two front sewn inserts full of the soft but thirsty hemp/cotton and three layers of hemp/cotton in the body of the diaper. That’s 11 layers of absorbency! Seriously though Thirsties hemp is hands down my FAVE hemp product in cloth diapering.
With most newborns you are going through an upwards of 10+ diaper changes a day (some up to 15), diaper laundry is something you need to be done fast and easy. We LOVED how fast these babies could dry. Although they may be made of hemp and cotton the open design of the inserts helped speed the drying process tremendously.
No matter the brand of diaper (or even disposables for that matter) my kiddos start peeing through their diapers early so we LOVE how easy this diaper is to add absorbency to. Simply lift of the inserts and add a Thirsties size small hemp doubler and you are good to go.
Best part about it is how well it fits on those delicious baby legs, little Miss was 10 pounds in this photo and 22″. The elastic is soft but snug! We found them about as blowout proof as a newborn diaper could be. We also loved the tummy strip (although we have a girl she like to pee forwards and fast).
